About Pam

In her role as Chief Operating Officer at Julien Unger & Associates PLLC (“JUA”), Pam ensures the smooth running of the firm. Her focus at JUA is scalability and team culture. She owns process and procedure standardization and documentation, company admin, and drives staff training and hiring.

Pam’s technical expertise is in financial services tax compliance and consulting. She spent 12 years at PWC in the asset and wealth management practice supporting a variety of clients including venture capital and private equity funds, fund-of-funds, and real estate funds.

For the last 5 years, Pam has been building and running a tax compliance team focused on automation and scale within the private fund fintech platform Angellist, at their in-house fund administrator: Belltower Fund Group. As the Tax Director she served as the subject matter expert, product manager, and people lead building out the tax compliance products and processes. For the last 3 years, she was also the Managing Director coordinating across operational teams to manage a remote and hybrid workforce, drive hiring, set direction, and solve business problems to better service clients and support staff.

She came to JUA to focus within the local market, and replicate the best of the company policies, practices, and culture that she took from both PWC and Belltower.

Personal Life and Passions

Pam’s passions are her family, and civic engagement. When she’s not cheering for her three kids at the sideline of a soccer game, or from the stands at swim or gym meet, she can be found zooming into a PTSA or City Council meeting, jamming out to live music, or exploring the mountain by foot or snowboard with her husband.

Fun Fact

Pam met her husband Nate in the Masters of tax program at UW, but it took them 17 years before they decided to work together.
