Established in 2023 by former partners at a local well respected CPA firm, Nate Unger and Chris Julien formed Julien Unger & Associates PLLC as a client-centric CPA firm specializing in small and medium-sized businesses.

Chris’ emphasis has been broad based tax expertise and personalized client service.  His career has taken him from Grand Rapids to Seattle. At each firm and in each position from senior to partner, he’s built out his wide-ranging technical knowledge. But all left him wanting more ownership and control of the business direction.   

Nate’s early career was spent at one firm from going from staff to partner and Real Estate practice leader. Specializing in tax compliance and planning for real estate professionals and closely held businesses, Nate is dedicated to client service. He launched his own firm in 2021 before co-founding Julien Unger & Associates with Chris.

The duo formed their venture to offer excellent service in an intimate setting, ensuring close connections with clients and their businesses. Julien Unger & Associates brings a practical blend of expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and client-focused dedication to its industry-specific clientele.
