About Nate
As a Co-Founder and Partner of Julien Unger & Associates PLLC (“JUA”), Nate’s focus is providing excellent client service and acting as a trusted advisor to help solve tax and business problems.
Nate provides tax compliance and planning services to real estate professionals, construction companies, professional services companies, high net worth individuals and other closely held businesses. He also works with his clients to provide outsourced CFO services. His proactive tax planning approach not only provides clients with accurate estimates of taxes due but also empowers them to make strategic financial and business decisions for efficient tax management.
Nate launched his own firm in 2021, and partnered with Chris Julien in 2023 to form JUA. Before that he spent 14 years working his way from staff to partner and Real Estate Practice Leader at a well-respected Bellevue public accounting firm.
Personal Life and Passions
Nate’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife and 3 kids. In addition to cheering them on, he lets the Huskies, Sounders, and Seahawks raise his blood pressure a few times a month. If he’s got a free day, he’s headed to the mountains year round, either hiking or skiing.
Fun Fact
Nate met his wife Pamela in the Masters of tax program at UW, but it took them 17 years before they decided to work together.
